Private Seller Terms and Conditions

 
A. INTRODUCTION

 

By using our Private Selling Service, you are agreeing to comply with the below Terms and Conditions.

These Terms tell you about us and the legal terms and conditions on which you are allowed to sell products. The Private Seller Terms and Conditions are the agreement between Loop Generation and the Private Seller. 

The terms "us", "our" "we" or "Loop Generation" refer to Loop Generation Ltd. The term "you" and "Private Seller" refer to the seller on our Site. 

Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them, before listing any products. Please note that by listing any products you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

We amend these Terms from time to time. Every time you wish to list products, please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms which will apply at that time. 

B. ABOUT LOOP GENERATION

We are Loop Generation and we operate the website and marketplace loop-generation.com. We are Loop Generation Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom under company number 7002732. Our registered office and main trading address is 171-175 Draycott Avenue, London, SW3 3AJ. Our VAT number is 439 2159 82.

 C. GLOSSARY

  • "Seller" means everyone who lists their products on our site with the intention of selling them;
  • "Account" means a customer account which has been opened by you through our website;
  • "Order" means an order for a Product placed on the website;
  • "VAT" means Value Added Tax;
  • a person includes a natural person, corporate or unincorporated body (whether or not having separate legal personality);
  • a reference to writing or written includes emails or any other written for of contact.

 D. LISTING PROCESS

Please note that currently the Private Selling Service is available for UK Sellers only. You will be asked to register on the website by providing your email address and creating a password. You must use all reasonable steps to keep your password confidential, and must inform us if you suspect or discover that your password has become known to someone else. You shall use your account to list Products in accordance with the process outlined on our website. Please note that you need to include the shipping cost in the price of the items as Loop Generation does not provide the Sellers with the shipping labels. 

 E. SALES PROCESS

When a product is purchased:

  • We will deduct payment once the Buyer submits their payment details on the website and purchases the Product
  • You will receive an automatic notification email once your Product is sold
  • You will be responsible to deliver the item to our office on 171-175 Draycott Avenue, London, SW3 3AJ in London within 5 days after the sale. You can deliver the item either in person or by post. We strongly recommend using a trusted and tracked courier as Loop Generation will not be liable for any loss or damages.
  • In the event that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, we reasonably believe a transaction is fraudulent or you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out within these Terms, an Order may be refused;
  • Once the product is received by our Fulfilment Team we will check its authenticity and if the product matches the description and images we will ship it to the Buyer. Once the product reaches our office it is fully insured and we will be taking care of delivering it to the Buyer.
  • If the Seller's item passes our quality and authenticity check we will immediately dispatch it to the Buyer.
  • If the Seller's item does not pass our authenticity check the Seller will be liable to pay a £100 fee.
  • If the Seller's item will not match the images and the description of the item it will be returned to the Seller at their cost.
  • The Buyer will have 48 hours to raise any issues. Please note that we do not accept any returns on the items purchased on our website from the Private Sellers.
  • We process the payments to the Sellers twice monthly - on the 4th and 18th of each month.
  • You can choose to be paid either by Bank Transfer or PayPal. Please note that we will not cover any fees that may result from bank/ PayPal charges or currency conversion.
  • Once payment can be processed, we will deduct the applicable commission.
  • VAT on our commission will be covered by Loop Generation.

F. CONTENT SUBMITTED BY USERS

You are responsible for any User Content posted to the site. “User Content” means any content you post to the site, which may include reviews, questions, image uploading, and other such features that allow Users to add content to the site. We reserve the right to remove any User Content generated by any user at our sole discretion if we decide that the content is not authentic or harmful. By posting to the Site, you understand that once you post User Content, your content becomes public. We are not responsible for keeping any User Content confidential so if you do not want anyone to read or see that content, do not submit or post it to the Site.

If we allow you to upload User Content, you may not: 

  • Provide User Content that you do not have the right to submit, unless you have the owner’s permission; this includes images and any other material covered by someone else’s copyright, patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or any other proprietary right; 
  • Provide any User Content that contains lies, falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage us or anyone else; 
  • Provide User Content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, libellous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate; 
  • Impersonate anyone else or lie about your affiliation with another person or entity in your User Content; 

G. RESTRICTIONS 

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts in order to sell any Product(s).
